Reports of gun fire on Friday night led to the seizure of numerous prohibited and restricted weapons in Prince Rupert.
Police initially received reports of a gun shot from a resident on the 1900 block of 11th Avenue East, at around 11:00 at night.
When officers arrived, they cleared the occupants and detained two of them while the residence was cleared.
During their efforts, police observed a number on insecure and dangerous weapons which represented a risk to public safety.
The next day, RCMP returned with a search warrant and seized a slew of loaded weapons and ammunition, and made one arrest.
