This year’s edition of the annual All-Native Basketball Tournament has been postponed, once again.
It’s the third time the tournament’s start date has been delayed, after last year’s event was cancelled entirely due to the pandemic.
Last week, the planning committee met and announced the tournament would be postponed to March 27th.
But yesterday, they made a second announcement, delaying the start by another week.
That means that the tournament, which will be hosted in the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre in Prince Rupert, will start on either April 2nd, or the 3rd, depending on the number of entries.
Roster and entry fee submission deadlines remain March 4th.
According to the committee, this most recent delay will be the finals one, as they have now locked the dates in with the venue.
