BC Transit Cancels Trips on Two Out-of-Town Routes This Afternoon

Due to continued rough road conditions on Terrace area side roads, BC Transit has decided to cancel trips on two out-of-town routes.

Both the #5 Thornhill, and the #14 Gitaus/ Queensway routes will see all scheduled trips cancelled today.

Initially, Transit had hoped to re-start service to the routes this afternoon, but conditions remain poor in those areas.

In their attempts to service the routes in question this morning, two separate buses found themselves sideways in the middle of roads.

All other scheduled routes, including the #13 Kitsumkalum, and Skeena Connector out-of-town trips, will go ahead this afternoon.

Some delays may still be experienced due to the conditions.
