A recent vehicle incident in Terrace has led to a fire hydrant in front of City Hall being put out of commission for a little while.
At around 8:30 this morning, a vehicle ran into a fire hydrant on Lakelse avenue close to the Eby Intersection right in front of Terrace City Hall.
After receiving word of the hydrant reportedly being bent at 45-degree angle due to the vehicle crashing into it, Terrace Public Works made sure to shut off the hydrant to avoid it potentially spraying water everywhere.
But as of right now, no information is known about what type of vehicle hit the hydrant, nor is there any info regarding who owns the vehicle.
