A ship fire which sparked in Kitimat this weekend had two fire crews springing in to action.
According to Kitimat Fire Department, the blaze, which popped up at MK Bay Marina in the afternoon, was challenging and complex.
Once they arrived on scene, members of the Haisla Nation Volunteer Fire Department helped Kitimat crews secure a suitable water source, as well as with breakdown and clean up at the scene.
No injuries were reported as a result and the fire was eventually put down that evening.
There is no word as of yet on what caused the blaze.
