Indigenous Services Canada released their newest report on how Covid is impacting Indigenous communities earlier today.
As of today, there have been 74,786 confirmed Covid cases in First Nations communities, with 4,820 active cases.
As a result, there have been a total of 2,638 hospitalizations since the pandemic started, and 609 deaths reported.
Across the country, First Nations communities have seen a 3.8 percent decrease in cases from last week.
86 percent of people 12 and older living in First Nations, Inuit, and territorial communities have received at least two vaccinations.
