Tomorrow, the First Nations Health Managers Association will host a town hall focused on navigating addictions during the pandemic.
It is the third in a series of 12 virtual town halls being held weekly by the Association.
Each week’s edition focuses on a different topic, with the first three having a focus on Covid-19 related topics.
This week’s episode will run at noon tomorrow, and will feature expert advice on how to navigate addictions during Covid.
One such speaker will be Dr Carol Hopkins, Executive Director of the Thunderbird Partnership Foundation, who the Association have partnered with for this town hall.
Other speakers include: Tim Ominika from Thunderbird, Jonathan Peltier from the Community Justice Program, Mark Sagan from Indigenous Services Canada.
FNHMA CEO Marion Crowe will host an moderate the event, which will also feature a Covid-19 update from Indigenous Services Canada.
