After two weeks of stagnating, Covid cases were once again on the rise in the North last week.
In Terrace, cases climbed to 99 from 86 two weeks ago, Prince Rupert saw 85 new cases, up from 79, Kitimat went from 33 cases two weeks ago to 47 last week, and Haida Gwaii saw 15 cases, up from 6.
Smithers tied for the largest drop in cases in the Northwest, going from 81 two weeks ago to 52 last week, the Nechako Health Area matched their drop, going from 73 to 48 last week, and Burns Lake dropped to 15 from 17.
Further east, cases stayed relatively level, the Peace North and South saw 146 and 102 cases respectively, Prince George saw 555, and Quesnel reported 73.
