A fire at a supportive housing facility in Terrace from yesterday afternoon saw one man sent to hospital due to his burns.
At around 3:00 yesterday afternoon, fire crews responded to the blaze at Sonder House, with RCMP following shortly after.
Crews were able to limit the flames to one unit of the facility, located at 4523 Olson Avenue, which were extinguished by the evening.
One man was located unconscious in the unit when crews arrived, and was determined to have suffered severe burns.
He was initially taken to local hospital, before eventually being flown to a burn unit for further treatment.
While the cause of the fire has yet to be determined, RCMP do not suspect any criminal activity.
