A Participation and Cooperation Agreement between the Williams Lake First Nation and Taseko Mines, has been renewed.
Originally signed back in 2013, the agreement will allow the parties to continue to grow their relationship.
Taseko owns and operates the Gibraltar Mine, located northeast of Williams Lake.
Williams Lake First Nation Chief Willie Sellars says the company has a history of being open and transparent with the Nation.
He also says the agreement continues to give them a seat at the table to assert their voice as environmental stewards on their land.
