From now on the City of Prince Rupert will also officially be known as the City of Rainbows.
The new tagline is part of an extensive rebranding campaign which also features a new logo, custom graphics, and unique guidelines.
Designed by branding agency Will Creative and Ts’msyen artist Russell Mather, the new logo incorporates the rainbow theme.
However, not wanting the logo to look childish, Mather’s design uses a modified arch design with a Ts’msyen formline element.
Those same influences inspired the font used underneath the new, bright red, arch logo.
Under the new guidelines, the City will work to modernize their aesthetic branding across the city, and Tourism Prince Rupert is working on a new signage project which will incorporate the new branding.
