After initially being presented last month at a virtual Board of Education meeting, the monthly board report for February done by Coast Mountains School District 82’s superintendent Janet Meyer has been released publicly.
Some of highlights of the report include Meyer expressing cautious optimism about a COVID-19 reprieve, multiple levels of data regarding student achievement in the district and even a presentation from the BC confederation of Parent Advisory Councils about the benefits that having a District Parent Advisory Council provides.
Other things mentioned were the results of an analysis of areas in schools that do not have any mechanical ventilation as well as the formation of a swim class for a grade 3 and 4 class at the Suwilaawks Community School.
