After two years of pandemic cancellations, the Williams Lake Stampede is set to return this summer.
Williams Lake Stampede Association president Court Smith gave City Council the good news at yesterday’s meeting.
This year’s event will run from June 30th through July 2nd, with the local ranch rodeo following on the 3rd.
With the Stampede considered an outdoor event, full capacity of 4,200 seats will be allowed.
Last year, the Association had planned a Bull Riders Canada event for the fall, but had it cancelled just two weeks prior.
A replacement bull riding event sanctioned by the group will, for the first time, be featured at the Stampede.
Tickets will be made available by April 1st.
