Indigenous focused graduation requirements are set to become part of BC’s post-secondary curriculum next school year.
Earlier in the week, the province published their proposal for how they plan to alter the curriculum.
Now, the province has launched an online consultation seeking public input on the proposal.
That proposal would see students required to acquire 4 credits through Indigenous-focused courses, in order to graduate.
New courses are planned to be introduced to compliment existing courses offered in the province.

Plans are for the curriculum change to come in to effect for the 2023-24 school year, covering public, independent, and off-shore schools.
