Terrace RCMP are looking for information on a stolen truck that was found abandoned last week.
Witnesses reported seeing two men and a woman park a truck with expired plates in an unused lot, before departing on foot.
When police arrived on scene, they found that the plates did not match the vehicle anyway, and ran the VIN to find the proper owner.
After speaking with the owner, and verifying it had been stolen, police seized it for forensic examination.
An investigation is on-going, and anyone with relevant information is asked to contact Terrace RCMP at 250 638 7400.
