Northern Health Registers Fewest New Cases in First Week of Province’s New Covid-19 Reporting Model

Northern Health reported the fewest new cases of any Health Authority during the first week of BC’s new weekly reporting model.

In total, Northern Health saw 107 cases reported between April 3rd and the 9th, with 14 hospitalizations, and 0 deaths.

Of the new cases, Terrace saw 7, Smithers 6, Prince Rupert 4, Kitimat 2, and 4 on Haida Gwaii, while Prince George paced the North with 54 new cases.

Across the province, there were 1,770 cases reported, with 233 hospital admissions, and 23 newly reported deaths.
