Some changes are being made to 10 projects funded through the Terrace Community Forest Reserve fund.
Included in those changes are the removal of the Howe Creek East Extension and Howe Creek Landfear Bridge projects, and a reduction of funding to the Howe Creek Upgrades on the Bench.
That frees up just over $106,000 in funding, which will be reallocated to to 7 other projects.
$45,000 of that will go towards the completion of the final section of the Howe Creek improvement project from Thomas Street to Eby Street.
$30,000 will fund the Riverwalk Trail Rehabilitation and Fencing Project, and $10,000 will go to the Kerr Park Revitalization Project.
In addition, $7,500 will help supplement the Rotary Club’s George Little Park Expansion, and $3,500 will supplement the Farmer’s Market Accessibility and Bicycle Parking Project.
$5,200 will be reinvested in to design plans for the removed Howe Creek East Extension Project, and $5,000 will go to the Ferry Island Trail Bridge Replacement project to adjust for increased lumber costs.
