Anyone passing by the Smithers Airport this afternoon may have noticed an unusual display in the skies.
A military plane could be seen making several passes overhead, before making a landing on the strip.
As you could imagine, many residents gathered around to enjoy the spectacle.
Some even got to witness at least one small object attached to a parachute being dropped from the plan during one of its passes.
