Howe Creek Trail Closures to Continue into Next Week as Crews Conduct Segmented Work

Maintenance work on the Howe Creek Trail in Terrace will continue next week, prompting the closure of another section of the trail.

Crews will be working on the portion to the east of the Caledonia Trailhead beginning on Monday, and running through Wednesday.

That means the trail will be closed from McConnell Bridge to the Lanfear Trailhead while work is underway.

However, the section which was closed this week between the Bridge and Eagle’s Nest marker will re-open next week.

Residents are asked to obey signage and avoid crews while work is underway.
