Another day, another award for a Tahltan organization, this time taking home Indigenous Business of the Year.
Last night, the Tahltan Nation Development Corporation took home the honour at the 5th Annual Arctic Indigenous Investment Conference.
Held in Whitehorse, the ceremony recognizes Indigenous businesses from the Territories, Alaska, and Northern BC.
Awardees demonstrate excellence in growth, innovation, environmental stewardship, marketing, outstanding service, and commitment to the preservation of cultural values and identity.
For more than 30 years, the TNDC has played an instrumental role in developing industry in Northwest BC, contributing to numerous projects.
Today they are helping to advance Seabridge Gold’s KSM Project and Skeena Resource’s Eskay Creek Revitalization Project.
They also deliver a number of development, transportation and support services to the Brucejack and Red Chris Mines.
