Residents of the Village of Telkwa are being asked to conserve water as work on the Morris Reservoir picks up.
Between May 9th and the 20th, the Village’s public works crew will be emptying and inspecting the reservoir.
It’s part of their efforts to refurbish the reservoir, which began in 2021, and will eventually see the installation of new valves, mixing equipment and a drain line, safety improvements, and more.
While the work is being conducted, residents will continue to receive water from the Trobak Reservoir and water treatment plant.
