It’s going to cost the City of Terrace a little bit more than initially allotted to finish their Lazelle Boulevard Enhancement Project.
Once completed, that project would see all grass inlays between the road and sidewalk converted in to brick pavers, with trees, bike racks, and garbage bins.
Phase 1 of the project was completed last year, and the tender for phase 2 has now been awarded to Uplands Nursery for $280,000.
While that will cover costs for the remainder of the road, two sections leading to the McDonalds and KFC would require a larger price tag to include.
In light of this, Council opted to provide an additional $125,000 in reserve funding for the project.
