Ottawa is providing just over $441,000 for asset management initiatives in 10 BC communities, including one in the North.
Funding comes from the Municipal Asset Management Program, and will help communities make data-driven decisions regarding key infrastructure, and to ensure long-term performance.
Among those receiving funding is the Corporation of the Village of Hazelton, who will get $25,200 for their asset plan management and update training.
You can find a list of all projects receiving funding at this link.
