Efforts by the City of Prince George to redesign their online presence have been recognized by the Canadian Public Relations Society.
Their new social media strategy, dubbed Service with a Smile, has won the City the gold in the Digital Communications Campaign of the Year category.
That put them among 73 award recipients at the Society’s annual gala in Winnipeg earlier this week.
Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc Chief Rosanne Casimir was also honoured, taking home the President’s Award for contributions to the Public Relations fraternity in Canada.
Other winners included: TransMountain who took home the gold Crisis Management Campaign of the Year award, and Interior Health won bronze in the Best MultiMedia Projects category.
