Covid cases and hospitalizations continued to drop in every region of the province last week, according to the CDC’s weekly report.
Between May 29th and June 4th, BC reported a total of 895 new cases, down from 1,161 the week before.
Hospitalizations dropped from 310 to 219 last week, with 43 individuals passing away within 30 days of testing positive for Covid-19.
Northern Health once again saw the fewest new cases with 44, down from 66, with 7 hospitalizations and 2 deaths.
Terrace led the Northwest with 5 new cases, while Kitimat and Burns Lake each saw 2 and Smithers, Prince Rupert, Haida Gwaii, and the Nisga’a Health Area each saw 1 new case.
