With Terrace currently facing a low flood risk at the moment, Ferry Island has now been fully re-opened for public use.
This means that the public can now get back to using the campground’s trail and campsites during the day.
However, some small areas of the trail are still under repair so all visitors have been asked to respect and obey all flagging and signage on the trail.
New reservations at the site are able to be booked as well.
Terrace is expected to release another update on the area should there be a big change in the flood forecast.
