Covid cases and hospitalizations have dropped in every region of BC over the past week yet again, according to the CDC’s weekly report.
Between June 5th and 11th, BC reported a total of 726 new cases, down from 894 the week before.
Hospitalizations dropped from 246 to 189 last week, with 50 individuals passing away within 30 days of testing positive for Covid-19.
The Northern Health Authority again saw the fewest new cases with 44, the same as last week, with 7 hospitalizations and 3 deaths.
Terrace only saw 2 new cases, while Kitimat had 1 new case and Burns Lake and Smithers had 2, while Prince Rupert and the Nisga’a Health Area each saw no new cases and Haida Gwaii had 4.
