Injuries received after crashing an ambulance may have a Granisle area man rethinking his decision to steal said ambulance.
Houston RCMP were called out to Lions Beach Campground just after 1:00 Saturday morning for reports of that crash.
When they arrived on scene, police located the flipped ambulance, with no sign of EHS members anywhere in sight.
Not long after, police were able to locate a man walking along the highway with injuries consistent with those obtained during a crash.
He was treated for minor injuries before being arrested, after further evidence against him was gathered.
Police discovered that multiple break-and-enters had taken place, with other, now returned, vehicles being stolen as well.
Now, the man is facing multiple charges, and police are asking anyone with information to contact Houston RCMP at 250 845 2204.
