Covid Cases and hospitalizations in BC continued their downward trend last week, according to the CDC’s newest report.
Between June 12th and the 18th, the province reported 642 new cases, down from 726 the week before, and 156 hospitalizations, down from 220.
Northern Health saw 41 of those new cases, down from 44, and actually saw a tiny rise in hospitalizations from 7 to 8.
As a whole, the province reported 26 new deaths within 30 days of testing positive for Covid, with none of those coming from the North.
Terrace saw the most cases in the Northwest with 3, while Prince Rupert, Kitimat, and Smithers each saw 1, with no other Local Health Area in the Northwest reporting any new cases.
