Two recent fires in the Northwest Fire Centre have the Wildfire Service reminding residents to be cautious during all outdoor activities.
Both blazes sprouted up in the Cassiar Fire Zone over the past week due to hot and dry conditions, mixed with isolated lightning.
Crews were able to extinguish both before they were able to grow to a substantial size.
But, with temperatures remaining elevated the next few days, that may not be the case for future fires.
Residents of the Cassiar and Northern Skeena Fire Zones in particular, are advised to use extreme caution, with temperatures remaining seasonally high, and lightning and wind posing added threats.
