A robbery investigation in Kitimat has resulted in two individuals being arrested on charges related to drug trafficking.
RCMP initially executed a public safety warrant at a local residence on June 23rd, after identifying two males involved in a robbery.
While executing the warrant, police discovered drugs and paraphernalia in plain sight, and obtained a separate search warrant.
As a result of the search, officers seized 1.2 ounces of suspected meth, assorted pills, and other drugs and cash related to trafficking.
One male suspect was arrested during the search, and a second was later located and subsequently arrested.
