Lightning sparked fires are continuing to keep Wildfire Service crews busy in the Northwest Fire Centre, near the Yukon border.
An out of control 4,700 hectare blaze west of Highway 37 and north of Blue River, near Lower Post, is the largest of those.
Across the Highway from there, a fire which had grown to 10 hectares is now listed as under control.
Headed west, a 65 hectare fire south of the Jennings Lakes remains out of control, as does a 906 hectare blaze west of there along the Jennings River.
South of there is a 20 hectare fire near Tahoots Lake, also listed as out of control, along with a 15 hectare fire north of Canyon Creek.
A 150 hectare blaze is straddling the Yukon border, just north of Tagish Lake, while two fires near Atlin Lake are either under control, or extinguished.
Two smaller fires are continuing to burn west of Telegraph Creek, near Chutine Lake and along Kirk Creek.
And a 324 hectare blaze on the east side of Stikine River Park is now listed as being held.
