For the first time in more than two decades, the Snowbirds will be joining an airshow in Terrace next week.
Terrace has not played host to a major airshow since 2004, a show which did not involve Canada’s most famous aerial performers.
But, that is set to change, with the Snowbirds set to open the Northwest Regional Airshow next Wednesday.
Gates at the Terrace and Kitimat Regional Airport will open at 2:00 in the afternoon, with the Snowbirds taking flight at 5:00 sharp to get the show underway.
In addition to the Snowbirds, the CF-18 Demo Team, Northstars Aeroteam, and SkyHawks Parachute Team will also join the show.
Food vendors and a kid’s area will also be on site for the event.
