Just three out of control wildfires remain in the Northwest, down from six at the beginning of the week.
A 4,700 hectare blaze west of Highway 37 and north of Blue River, near Lower Post, is the largest of those.
West of there, a fire burning near Tahoots Lake is covering 20 hectares, and one covering 906 hectares is burning north of there, near the Jennings River.
A 150 hectare blaze along the Yukon border, near Tagish Lake is now listed as being held by the Wildfire Service.
There are 5 more fires burning in the Northwest Fire Centre, though they are all listed as either under control or being held.
There is one wildfire of note burning in the province, covering 500 hectares near Nohomin Creek just outside Lytton.
