No wildfires are currently ongoing in the Cariboo fire region and the number of fires in the northwest is back down to 7.
A 4,700 hectare blaze west of Highway 37 and north of Blue River, near Lower Post, is the largest of those.
A fire burning near the Jennings River is covering 1,100 hectares and is listed as being held southwest of there.
A 150 hectare blaze along the Yukon border, near Tagish Lake is still listed as under control by the Wildfire Service.
There are 4 more fires burning in the Northwest Fire Centre, all of which are either under control or being held outside of one near Dokdaon Creek and the same goes for the Prince George Fire Centre.
Just the one wildfire of note is still burning in the province, and still covering 2,058 hectares near Nohomin Creek just outside Lytton, and it could potentially get bigger due to warmer and drier weather.
