A vehicle incident between Terrace and Kitwanga closed roughly 70 kilometres of Highway 16 back on Saturday.
That incident closed the road between the Chimdemash Loop, roughly 22 km east of Terrace, and Kitwanga.
According to the Terrace RCMP, a man who was driving a pick up truck collided with a woman who was also driving a pick up truck with two passengers.
The male driver and the passengers only received minor injuries, which were treated at a local Hospital, but the female driver had to be flown to a hospital in another town due to her more extensive injuries.
Both vehicles were seriously damaged and the man received a 3-day Immediate Roadside Prohibition from Driving, in addition to his vehicle being impounded.
Terrace RCMP are still investigating this case and charges may be recommended to the BC Prosecution Services for consideration depending on what they find.
