A Water Quality Advisory which had been issued by the City of Prince Rupert this weekend has now been lifted.
On Saturday, the City issued a Boil Water Notice due to low chlorination levels in the water supply, but it was reduced to a Water Quality Advisory several hours later.
Now, all advisories have been lifted, with the City completing a full flush of all effected water supplies.
Water users who notice a milky quality or sediment in the water are advised to run cold water, preferably through a bath tub or laundry sink tap, until the water runs clear.
You should not operate any appliances which use the system, such as washing machines, until the water is clear.
