A water quality advisory which had been been re-issued by the City of Prince Rupert last Thursday night has now been lifted.
On July 30th, the City issued a boil water notice due to low chlorination levels in the water supply.
It was reduced to a water quality advisory hours later and lifted last Wednesday, before being re-issued roughly 24 hours later.
But, after being in place as a precautionary means over the weekend, the City has once again lifted the advisory.
Residents who notice a milky quality or sediment in the water are advised to run cold water, preferably through a bath tub or laundry sink tap, until the water runs clear.
