A wildfire burning north of Rosswood is now covering 50 hectares near the intersection with Kalum Lake Road and the South Douglas Forest Service Road.
At the moment, the fire is not threatening any homes or infrastructure, but it is listed as out of control and is believed to be human-caused.
A crew of 26 firefighters from the Wildfire Service are on site battling the blaze, with the assistance of a helicopter and air tankers.
In addition, members of the Thornhill Fire Department have also been on-scene assisting with efforts to quell the flames.
