A new wildfire which popped up this afternoon north of the Cranberry Junction remains relatively small for the time being.
That fire is burning along the Borden Lake forest Service Road, north of Highway 37, and the cause is still unknown.
Meanwhile, two small fires burning near Mount Edziza Provincial Park are still listed as out of control.
Those fires are located at the confluence of the Stikine and Deeker Creek, and southwest of Highway 37, near Bob Quinn Lake.
None of the three blazes are larger than one hectare, nor are they threatening any homes or infrastructure.
