Covid cases and hospitalizations in the province continue to drop, including the North, according to the CDC’s weekly report.
Between August 14th and the 20th, a total of 737 new cases were reported province-wide, down from 878 the week before.
Over the same period, there were 180 new hospitalizations, down from 231, with 41 ICU admissions, up from 32, and 33 deaths within 30 days of testing positive.
Northern Health reported 43 new cases, 2 less than the week before and dropped from 55 to 38 hospitalizations last week, with 5 ICU admissions.
Terrace saw only 7 new cases last week, while Haida Gwaii saw 2, Prince Rupert had 3, the Upper Skeena reported none, and Smithers saw one new case.
