According to a recent RCMP report, the main suspect in a mass stabbing case in Saskatchewan may have been sighted recently on James Smith Cree Nation land and as a result, RCMP have put out an alert for the members of the Nation to find shelter.
The suspect in question, Myles Sanderson, has been accused of perpetrating a mass stabbing with his brother nearby the Nation and the village of Weldon that has resulted in 10 people dying and injured 18 more.
Sanderson’s brother and alleged accomplice, Damien, was also found dead yesterday with wounds that did not appear as if they were self-inflicted.
As of right now, Sanderson is facing three counts of first-degree murder, in addition to attempted murder and break and enter.
He has also reportedly amassed 59 other convictions over two decades for things such as assaulting a police officer, robbery and uttering threats.
