As revealed in the Terrace RCMP’s weekly report, the Police received a report back on August 29th of a woman who had supposedly been peppered sprayed in the downtown area.
It took place at around 6:30 in the morning and the woman was able to quickly give a name of the man that she believed was responsible for attacking her.
Only a few hours later, there was another report of a man pepper spraying someone in the downtown area, but this time the victim also had some money stolen off him.
The same name for the attacker was given by the second victim as well.
A few hours after that, two staff members at a local store were attacked by a man wielding bear spray and Police were able to confirm that this attacker was the same man identified in the other two incidents.
The suspect was arrested on the charge of assault with a weapon not long after the incidents and he was also found to have several items believed to have been stolen.
The suspect was released not long after with a future court date to deal with the charges.
