In a recently released public notice, the Cariboo Regional District is letting their residents know that a Boil Water Advisory has been put in place for those using the Forest Grove Water System.
The advisory was put in place today and is expected to be in place until further notice.
The main reason that this advisory was put in place is due to recent samples of the water showing signs of Coliform.
Until the advisory is lifted, nearby residents are being asked to either use bottled water for dishwashing, drinking, brushing teeth, making ice and preparing food or to boil water for about a minute before using it.
This advisory will not be lifted until the district believes that the water is 100 percent safe.
