After a pair of vehicle incidents on Sunday, the Prince George RCMP are reminding residents to make smart choices when driving.
Back on Sunday, Police had to attend to a single vehicle incident just after midnight where a driver reportedly lost control of his vehicle while driving down Peden Hill and the vehicle ended up flipping onto its roof.
Luckily enough, the 21-year-old driver, who was the only occupant in the vehicle, was not injured in the crash.
But only a couple hours later, just after 2:30 in the morning, a second rollover incident occurred on the 1000-block of Stirling Drive and had to be attended to.
It was another single vehicle incident where the vehicle went down an embankment and as a result of the incident, the vehicle’s lone occupant, a 38-year-old male Prince George resident, had to be transported to a hospital by Emergency Health Services with severe injuries.
RCMP are continuing to look into both these incidents and so far, they believe speed had something to do with both crashes and due to that belief, they are asking all drivers to slow down as less favorable driving conditions will come with fall and winter.
