A staffing shortage is forcing the Ksan Society to reduce the hours at their Ksan Residence and Shelter, or KRS, facility.
Located on Hall Street, KRS features 16 short-term housing beds for community members in need, and is usually open 24/7.
But, beginning on Friday, they will be forced to close their doors daily between 7:00 in the morning, and 5:00 in the evening.
According to Ksan, the staffing issues began during the pandemic, and the reduced hours will be in place until they can return to appropriate staffing levels.
