A Boil Water Notice issued for users of the Alexis Creek water system earlier this month has now been rescinded.
Initially issued on September 14th, the Notice had been put in place due to a chlorine pump failure.
But, the failing pump has now been replaced, and water and chlorine samples taken over the past three days have all come back clear, prompting Interior Health to lift the order.
If residents smell chlorine in their water, they are advised to run the tap for a few moments, and the smell should dissipate.
