Update:
After renewing calls for public assistance in a missing person search yesterday, Prince Rupert RCMP have tragically called off the search.
Multiple search efforts had turned up empty, but yesterday, police discovered Wilson deceased.
No foul play is suspected in the death, and RCMP have now handed the investigation off to the Coroners’ Service.

RCMP in Prince Rupert are renewing calls for public assistance to help locate a man now missing for over a month.
55 year-old Darren Trent Wilson was initially reported missing on September 22nd, but had already been missing for weeks by that point.
Despite numerous efforts to locate Wilson, including air patrols and collaboration with other detachments, police have been unsuccessful in their search so far.
Police are now asking residents to keep a look out for Wilson’s blue 2013 Dodge Journey, with license plate number 105 RNW.
Wilson is described as a 6 foot 4 inch Caucasian man, weighing 229 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.
