Charges are pending against 22 individuals following a two month undercover drug trafficking investigation in Quesnel.
Conducted by the Quesnel Crime Reduction Unit, the operation, titled E-NANDU 2022, follows up a similar operation which targetted 13 drug traffickers in 2021.
This year’s operation saw police make 42 purchases of various drugs from 22 drug dealers, which led to 4 search warrants.
In total, police seized 5 kilograms of cocaine, 57 grams of fentanyl, 29 grams of meth, and 7 grams of heroine, as well as 15 firearms, and $93,000 in cash.
Charges have been forwarded to the Prosecution Service for approval against all 22 suspects.
