Campaigns have ended and advanced polls have closed, leaving tomorrow as the last chance for British Columbians to cast a ballot in this year’s municipal elections.
Polls open at 8:00 in the morning and close at 8:00 at night, with voters looking to elect their next mayor, councillors, regional district directors, and school board trustees.
Voters in Terrace can cast their ballots at either the Sportsplex, or Cassie Hall Elementary School.
In Kitimat, polls will be set up at the Riverlodge Recreation Centre, and Mount Elizabeth Secondary School.
Prince Rupert voters can head to the Recreation Complex Auditorium, and those in Port Edward can cast ballots at the Municipal Office on Pacific Avenue.
Polling stations in Smithers will be located at Muheim Elementary School.
In order to help voters get to the polls, BC Transit will be offering free bus rides in many communities, including Terrace, Kitimat, Prince Rupert, Smithers, the Hazeltons, and more.
